Recently, attorney Mark Atlee represented the plaintiff in a federal case against sports drink company Prime Hydration in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. The plaintiff alleged that Prime enabled third parties, including Meta and Google, to collect user data through its website, leading to claims of wiretapping violations. Specifically, the plaintiff argued that searches for drink flavors such as “ice pop” and “meta moon” were unlawfully captured.

In a ruling issued by U.S. District Judge Nitza Quiñones Alejandro in early 2025, the court determined that the information collected did not meet the threshold of “highly sensitive personal information” required to support privacy claims. Mark Atlee and his team remain committed to advocating for individuals in complex privacy and consumer protection disputes.
