“I am motivated by the people that come to our office for help. Talking to them and offering, at the very least, someone to listen.” Angelina Umstead
With a strong passion for justice and desire for things to be fair, attorney Angelina Umstead began practicing law to help people who could not help themselves. Her dream of becoming an attorney began at an early age. She envisioned herself giving people a voice in difficult situations. As a practicing attorney, it is important to her that people know they are being heard and that they matter.
Umstead isn’t afraid to face a challenge head-on. Companies (and people) shouldn’t be able to hide behind the complexities of a case. That’s why attorney Umstead leaves no stone unturned. Any decision she makes is always very well-thought out and researched. She is not afraid to ask questions because she knows that every client has a story. She wants to hear it and help determine which solutions are best for them.
It’s important to let clients know that their voices matter and that they are being heard. Attorney Umstead also tries to educate clients on the legal aspects of their case, which can feel overwhelming at first. If you ever have a question, you can call and speak directly with attorney Umstead.
Over the past 10 years, attorney Umstead has been committed to seeking justice for her clients, with a focus on cases involving medical malpractice, products liability, and crash worthiness. She is challenged when she encounters a complex medical issue she has never dealt with before. She overcomes that challenge by spending extra time to research and educate herself on the topic. She asks as many questions as are necessary to learn and understand the issue in order to best serve her clients.
Angelina graduated from the University of Pittsburgh, magna cum laude. She received her law degree from Villanova University School of Law. During law school, Angelina worked at a prestigious medical malpractice defense firm near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Following graduation, Angelina served as a judicial intern to the Honorable M. Jane Brady at the Superior Court of Delaware of New Castle County. She is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, The United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and The United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania. Attorney Umstead spends so much time working with the law that it also bleeds over into her free time. At home, she enjoys watching true crime shows. She also likes to work out, walk her dog on trails, and watch documentaries. When she is not working hard on a case, she can be found spending time with family.
