Meet Robin Jabour

Written by Emma Parnham

Robin Jabour has been an attorney with Atlee Hall for over twenty years. She became a partner in 2016.

Robin has successfully represented clients in a variety of cases including medical malpractice, automobile crashes, and products liability. More recently, Robin has been focused on nontuberculous mycobacteria (NTM) infection cases, in which Atlee Hall represents a number of Plaintiffs nationwide.

Robin is known for her compassion and client care. As her daughter, Melissa – also an attorney with Atlee Hall – describes: “Robin, or Mom to me, has only two goals in mind with each and every one of her cases: get the best result for her clients, and treat them the way she would want to be treated if she were in their shoes. She has forged genuine, deep, compassionate relationships with her clients. She regularly updates them on the status of their cases, spends time with them at their homes, and always remembers important dates and events in their lives. Cases are more than just “cases” for my mom—they are important and deeply personal. It is often impossible to see her outside of work and not talk about at least one of her cases; that is how invested she is and how seriously she takes her responsibility as advocate and counselor. She is a true role model for younger attorneys, both in her vast knowledge of the law and her ability to empathize with the individuals we fight for on a daily basis.”

Robin’s legal team also includes legal assistant, Amelia Polys, and paralegal, Janelle Valore, who both agree that, “Robin’s kindness, compassion and loyalty, extends beyond the courtroom and her clients, to the office. She is well-respected and valued by all those who work with her. Whether it’s work –related or not, Robin has a way of giving her undivided attention and guidance to all those who seek it.”

Robin always seeks to listen first, to put herself in the shoes of the other person to understand their perspective, and responds with measured and thoughtful suggestions.

Beyond practicing law, Robin’s care and compassion continues. She  donates her professional services to the Wills for Heroes Foundation and serves as a legislative advocate for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. This year, Robin and Melissa served as Poll Watchers, observing polling locations to ensure a fair election.  Robin also supports the Veterans Foundation, in honor of her father who served in the Korean War.
